The Heart of Loveland
Loveland is a city located within Hamilton, Clermont, and Warren counties in the southwestern part of Ohio in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Located off of Interstate 275, but also accessible via State Route 48, Loveland is about 15 miles northeast of the Cincinnati city limits. Known as the “Sweetheart of Ohio,” Loveland sits along the Scenic Little Miami River. But before this Cincinnati suburb became the city it is today, it was first and foremost an area of picturesque valleys, rich soil, and a river town. Loveland grew around the railroad and Little Miami River. The town’s location at the junction of the Little Miami Railroad (built in 1853), which provided service from Cincinnati to Xenia, was a significant cause of population growth as Cincinnati commuters passed through the river town each day. Today, Loveland marks a flourishing community whose outstanding schools, beautiful parks, passionate arts and culture, and prime location along the Little Miami River make it both a wonderful place to visit and to live.
This quiet residential suburb of Cincinnati on the Little Miami River has a lot to offer with beautiful scenery, great parks, and convenient access to nearby amenities. With so many interesting things about Loveland, including its rich and hidden history you’ll also find plenty to keep you busy in the area. Is Loveland a good place to live? Absolutely if you value family-friendly attractions, quiet neighborhoods, and an easy commute to work.
